The Hammond SK PRO has quickly become a favorite among musicians of all genres. Now Hammond introduces the dual-manual version: the SKX PRO. This versatile stage keyboard offers everything a keyboardist needs, from authentic Hammond organ sounds to extensive piano and synthesizer capabilities. Organ section

The SKX PRO features the most advanced "Modelled Tone Wheel 1" (MTW1) sound engine, originally developed for the XK-5 and widely recognized as the industry standard for digital "tone wheel" sounds.

• Hammond's exclusive "Virtual Multi-Contact" system emulates the key response of a vintage Hammond organ, perfectly replicating that distinctive "Hammond feel."
• Optional Hammond MIDI pedal sets (such as XPK-130G, XPK-200G or XPK-200GL) are available for an authentic organ experience.
• The built-in digital Leslie™ adds extra depth to the sound by simulating airflow around the Leslie rotors.
• In addition to Hammond drawbar sounds, the SKX PRO also offers models of Italian, British and Japanese transistor organs and classical/theatre pipe organs.

Piano/Ensemble

All piano and ensemble sounds are fully editable, just like on the SK PRO.

• The SKX PRO features high-quality samples of the finest grand pianos, including a brand new sample of a legendary European concert grand piano.
• Piano and ensemble sounds have been upgraded with higher resolution compared to previous SK models.

Mono Synthesizer

The SKX PRO features an all-new physically modeled synthesizer that faithfully reproduces the sounds and playing feel of classic analog synthesizers. All the traditional synth knobs are located on the top panel, allowing sounds to be created and edited in real time, just like on classic analog synths. Pitch bend and modulation wheels are also included.

Combinations, Favorites and Patches

The SKX PRO lets you use multiple sounds simultaneously, making it feel like you’re playing four separate keyboards. You have access to 200 combinations (100 factory presets and 100 user presets), and each combination can contain 4 patches and up to 3 external MIDI instruments. Ten combinations can be saved as “Favorites” for instant access, with 10 banks of 10 favorites, for a total of 100 favorites.

Effects

Each of the four voice sections can be equipped with overdrive and two types of DSP multi-effects.

• Multi Effect 2: Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, Delay, Auto Pan

Operation and Design

The SKX PRO features pitch bend and modulation wheels for expressive control while playing. Each vocal section has its own volume control for optimum balance while performing.

The stylish design of the SKX PRO comes in the color "British Racing Green". For a traditional look, optional walnut side panels can be easily installed.

Connections

The SKX PRO is equipped with line outputs (left and right), a headphone jack, and an AUX input with dedicated volume control for external audio sources. There are also separate outputs for assigning the Piano, Ensemble, or Mono Synth sections to separate audio outputs, plus Rotary Out and Organ Pedal (Bass) outputs.
