Each key is connected to nine tonewheels, recreating the rich harmonics of the original B-3. With the ability to customize tonewheel profiles and even recreate classic Hammonds down to the serial number and year, the XK-5 offers unprecedented freedom and customization.

The special "waterfall" keys provide a smooth playing experience, perfect for signature Hammond techniques such as glissandos and palm slides. Virtual Matching Transformer: Authentic Sounds
An often overlooked aspect of the classic Hammond sound is the effect of the matching transformer, which sends the signal from the tone wheels to the preamp. Enhanced Digital Leslie™ and DSP Overdrive
De XK-5 features our best digital Leslie™ yet, with a realistic simulation of Leslie speakers, including variable rotation speeds and extensive control over the sound. In addition, the enhanced DSP overdrive together with a tube preamp, a warm, dynamic tone that is essential to the Hammond sound.
