The founder, Ron Bol, began his career at a piano wholesaler that exclusively represented a wide range of renowned brands including Yamaha, Kemble, Barratt & Robinson, Nordiska, Chappell, Inbal, Haegele, Blüthner, Zimmermann, Alexander Herrmann and Fuchs & Möhr.

In addition, BOL Pianos has the Rippen Pianos brand built exclusively in a factory also in China.
Today, the production of these pianos and grand pianos takes place in China, in its own factory through a joint venture as Vice President and Export Manager of Perzina Piano Mfg. Co. Ltd., where the Gerh Steinberg pianos and grand pianos are also manufactured.
