The cost of a tuning is €104 for an upright or grand piano.
It is best to have your instrument tuned at least twice a year. It is of course important for the tuning, but also for the maintenance and guarantee of your instrument. Cold or heat or warmth is less important for your instrument, but the consistency of it is. A tuning is often necessary when the seasons change.
Delivery
The transport of the piano or grand piano is provided by us with a very specially equipped truck. If you live on a floor, the truck is equipped with a special so-called crane that reaches to great heights or even maneuvers the instrument over the roof to place it in your room.
It is best not to use artificial materials. Our advice is to drape a simple damp (not wet) chamois leather cloth in a plane and lightly wipe the instrument and keys in straight lines.
Be especially careful with unclean cloths, which can contain sand or the like, as this will cause scratches. Actually, this is all you need to do occasionally. Be especially careful with moisture in and around the piano or grand piano so that it does not get between the keys or into the instrument. For example, you should really avoid placing a filled glass on your instrument. If you do have light scratches on the piano, you can order so-called Polifinal from us, which, mixed with water, polishes away lighter or heavier scratches depending on how much you mix it with water. Without water, it is a pure polishing paste. The product is possibly the only safe product we know, as piano polyester has a very fine structure (much finer than cars, for example) and Polifinal is without silicone (which could actually cause scratches).
It is always important to know that an instrument sounds different at home than in the store, simply because the acoustic environment is different. Also, during transport, the piano or grand piano can become slightly out of tune.
The instrument must first acclimatise and come to rest. In any case, the instrument can be intoned acoustically by means of a special intonation session, in which we can then use special tools to change/adjust the sound according to your wishes. Our technicians have been specially trained by the manufacturers for this purpose. As for the tuning: this takes place a few weeks after delivery of the piano or grand piano and is in most cases included in the purchase price. It is advisable to have your instrument tuned twice a year.
Under all our pianos or grand pianos we provide you (service package) transparent or black/brown coasters that protect your floor from scratches or damage. Also available are rubber coasters that at the same time have a contact floor sound-dampening effect.
Maintenance
Usually we provide you with a hygrometer in our service package that you hang somewhere in the room. Ideal is 50%. However, as long as the percentage varies between 40% (winter) and 60% summer, that is fine. If too much below 40% or above 60%, you can consider purchasing a so-called Dampp Chaser in consultation with us, which regulates the relative humidity in your instrument. On request, we will gladly send you the documentation without obligation.

No, that is not necessary. It is nice to know if you are not coming by your own transport, but for example by train. In that case we will be happy to pick you up from Station Veenendaal Centrum or Veenendaal "De Klomp".
Also if you want to come by for a special model and you want to be sure that the instrument is in stock and possibly not just sold, then it is useful to make an appointment. Of course we always try to update the offer on the website, but sometimes an instrument can also just be sold.
Of course you are welcome to bring someone with you. Of course we welcome as many as possible to get to know our collection.
Usually it is a bit busier during the weekend than during the week. Our advisors are present on all days.

Yes, that's possible with acoustic pianos. We typically charge 2% of the price of the piano or grand piano per month for this. After one year, you can purchase the instrument, and we'll deduct 1% of the rent already paid from the price.
Yes, in many cases this is possible. You can make a down payment of your choice and the rest will be paid by direct debit in monthly installments.
