We overhaul or restore pianos and grand pianos, but we can also replace the soundboard of your instrument, which gives it a “new heart”, as it were. Often, especially with older instruments, the tension on the soundboard has disappeared, causing the sound to be dull and the depth to disappear. With a new soundboard, new strings, new tuning pins and a thorough overhaul of the mechanism (usually including the replacement or installation of high-quality hammer heads), your instrument will be reborn and function as new, while the original character of the instrument has been retained.
Our technicians are well trained and regularly receive further training from the manufacturers C. Bechstein, W. Hoffmann, Bösendorfer, Perzina and Steingraeber & Söhne.
